He keeps on saying it that we are on our honeymoon. Yesterday we decided to ditch the kids at home with money for dinner and off we went. Just the two of us down to my hidey hole . Dinner was Italian at a local restaurant . He had pasta and I had fish.
Then this morning we went for brunch at a local vineyard.
then home to put on our shoes for a beach walk.
It’s been a really nice weekend. Need to remember that my teen and my adult kids all have their own social lives and sometimes it doesn’t include us.

When we sold our house, we renovated an apartment to live and borrowed money to buy my hidey hole. It’s a beach shack that I escaped weekly. I claimed it mine as I used it more than the rest of the family. Somewhere to just go hide from the rest of the world. Was surprised that he wanted to tag along.
Reminds me I should come down more often.

Synchronicity! We did the same thing on this end, and I also took some pics. But since I post at a rate similar to molasses flowing, we’ll see if anyone gets to see them before Christmas. Looks like you had fun. 🙂

I will try, Vy! I had a major mishap with the pictures, but somehow managed to save them via a shareware I found. I still bungled the use of it, but managed to not lose the pictures a second time. There’s hope for me yet perhaps…

I use the app on my phone so I write and upload straight from it.
If I write on my laptop then I have to load the photos on to facebook or email myself the photos then download and upload again which is a pain. I’m as bad as you in that arena.

My nearly-fail I’ll explain in the upcoming post (such as it will be from what I normally do), but suffice to say it had to do with an SD card. So many people like yourself write from their phones, but I just can’t do that. I need chair, a keyboard, and my laptop’s monitor. The extent of my ability to write on a phone is, “Was that Swiss or cheddar I’m supposed to get?”
