May be I didn’t put in the right search engine words. Google didn’t spit out the information that I’d wanted.
Wandered into FB last night to find one of my old work colleague needing to borrow a keyboard . So I’d offered the kids’
Anyhow looked everywhere and couldn’t find the adapter. Looks like I’ve taken it to my hidey hole.
Spent last night and this morning googling for a replacement just in case it’s not down there. I’m 99% sure it is as remembered looking at the box of adapters and thinking I should take the keyboard one back home.
Better safe than sorry, finally found two mobs that I can get to. Most were internet based .
There was one about half an hour away from us and one in Geelong .
The one near us said they’ve got plenty so I’ll have a shower and head off. Might as well have an extra adaptor floating around.
Persistence do pay off in the end. I’m stubborn as .

These two photos are of a suburb near us. Old English County. The shopping strip is tiny and is full of character. Little boutiques and cafes line the strip.
In the olden days it used to be farmland then they divided up the land as time went by.
The roads are all over the place . The nice bit about this suburb is the old houses. Most are period homes. There are mansions as well as cottages . Then there are also newly built monstrosities.
The link below is of a well known mansion . I drive past it all the time. It’s heritage listed.

I have an old Adidas bag that I used to use in high school when I ran track. It’s now 40 years old, which is really scary to me now that I think about it. Anyway, for at least the last 30 years it contains all of my cords, cables, adaptors, USB buss’, and connectors for phones, keyboards, mice, etc. My ex used to routinely denigrate it as “that ugly monstrosity that you insist on keeping.” Recently she called me with a huge computer emergency; she had to get something really important done for work. I went over with the Adidas bag and found the necessary part to fix her problem. Interestingly she made no snide remark about the bag.
I love your pictures because you show every day things. I’ll probably never get to Australia, so this is a wonderful way to see it.

You’re welcome Marty . I’m always on the move. I’ve been decluttering so been ferrying things back and fro. We don’t have much room in our apartment so off it goes to my hidey hole .
We have lots of connectors thinking of giving them away . The thing is as soon as I do that he will need them.
