Today of all days I need to be on roller skates.

I’m hoping to spend a few hours at the shop this morning . Didn’t get to it yesterday.

Then off to buy more Christmas pressies. Trying to get it done during the weekdays so that I miss the crowds.

On one of my impromptu wanderings I discovered a pretty little gallery near my old haunt . In saying that it was a good 20 minutes drive away. 
It stocked Australian made stuff and well I love one off pieces. They were reasonable priced as well.

Either that or back to my favourite nursery.

I do try to put some thoughts into my pressies rather than just the same ones every year.

It was Spring , the trees were glorious .

Took these whilst trying out my SLR. Only a few turned out. 
 It’s a place called Warrandyte. Arty farty place by the  Yarra River. 

They used to have lots of arty farty little shops that you can wander and get lost in.

Not so much now which is a shame. 

Beautiful place, very serene and peaceful. I used to want a white picket fence house there with river views. 

But then reality stepped in . We couldn’t afford the views . It was too far from work . Not much support for young families. Needs buses and cars to get anywhere.
