When we bought the house two remotes came with it. 

They were pretty worn and well I don’t know where I’ve put one as now there’s only one for both of us.

A pain pretty much so we’ve both parked outside in the driveway this holiday season.

I know it’s somewhere safe 😀 This morning I had to write a note with all the particulars of the house for a friend as she’s coming to stay tomorrow.

Because we’ve left our bins in the garage she’d need the remote to take them out on Sunday.

I’m quite hesitant leaving the remote as it’s the only one we’ve got.

Then a light bulb moment. Silly me why didn’t I think of it before? So off I went online to find the same make and ordered not only one but three.
One for the garage and two for our cars. The old one I’ll leave at the house for guests to use. 

Whola problem solved. Simple.
