Sundays are never a day of rest at our place. There’s always something to do.

I’m an early riser which means it doesn’t matter which day it is 630am and I’m up.

Whilst hubby and the kids sleep in I’d be at the business working .

A few hours here and there helps .

We’d then venture out for a nice lunch somewhere. It’s our family thing to do.

After that it’s free time. Hubby would go to play badminton with his mates. The kids get ready for school and I go back to work.

Dinner would just be boring take away.

When I was working in Geelong I used to dread Sundays as everything had to be done before I could take off.

Dishes and laundry had to be cleared . Groceries done so the kids had stuff for school lunches .

Hubby has staff working for him Mondays and Tuesdays thus at least he could organise dinners for those two nights .

Plus the oldest was supposed to cook one night a week and I’d specifically asked her to do one of those nights to help her dad out.

Aim for today :

1/ need to catch up at work

2/ make myself a list of things still to do before New Year

3/ get the house in a clean and reasonable order

4/ work out the kids’ school stuff . They are due to go back 1/2/17 which is just after our New Year. Still got to go through my son’s uniform. Then I think that’s sorted. Have paid for all of their tuition. School books all on order. That reminds me not sure about their school fees. As hubby usually pays. Will have to ask him.

Whilst trying to find the gift voucher for my friend ‘s kids yesterday I found my Christmas cards and red packets . Was surprised I’ve accumulated so many . Now I can tick this off my list 😊
