I spent tonight making cards. Well not traditional cards but two big half cards


This one is for our tutor. The backing has circles for messages just in case the two white ones in front are filled up .

This is one I made for the girls that helped us with our dishes.
I’m really glad it’s finishing up. Will miss the company though .
Very happy today our sponge turned out a treat. It’s the one thing that I wanted to learn . The others were just bonuses.

Our sponge was a component to make this.
It’s quite fiddly these little cakes
The raspberry was filled with raspberry jam.

Lots of layers went into this one. We made a sponge then the raspberry mousse and a mint infused insert that was frozen overnight.
The whole thing and the leaves were sprayed with a red spray.
Then there was a glaze to stick the raspberry and chocolate feather /leaf down.
The raspberry was filled with jam.
After it’s all assembled then it’s sprinkled with gold dust.
I think one of us wanted a taste so it was over sprinkled with the dust 😂

This one also had three layers white chocolate mousse with lime and pineapple insert and a lime sponge with a green glaze speckled and then a chocolate garnish on to.
This was my favourite . Not a fan of sprayed desserts.
