Spent half of the morning looking for my car key. Hubby took it off his chain to give to the mechanic as my car was due for a service. 

He then headed off to the rental on Tuesday to do some work and I tagged along as nearly forgot about picking up my zest from the school.

Then because it was raining I took that key to open my car to grab my rain jacket. I didn’t have my back pack with me just my hand bag.

It’s not in my pants pocket or my handbag or my rain jacket. 

Turned his car upside down it’s not in his car either. The only thing I can think of is I must have left it at the house.

Since I turned his car upside down I found dirty sport gear so have popped them out to wash. Whilst at it I’ve also tidied up for him.

The laundry will go in with my youngest load of washing . I’ve had to empty her hooks as she had 3-4 jackets hanging, two scarves,a myriads of bags, belt and hat and whatever else.


The bags, hat and belt have migrated to the study. I’ve since popped her jackets, scarves, onesies and nightgown in the wash. 


Went out on to the deck to smell my roses. Not much scent still. I have a feeling I got ripped off. Either that or roses in pots don’t give as much scent. 

From memory my roses were darker in colour. They are supposed to be Mr Lincoln.



My bougainvillea is doing okie. Not too great as it’s next to one of my rose bush. I’ve got to find a way of tying the rose stems. Might have to move both bushes over to the frames. 


The Japanese maple is doing magnificently . It needs a trim as it’s over crowding my wild orchids.


We moved it to here as it was struggling in our courtyard.


The wild orchids are not doing too badly either. They are shooting out roots. Which I can actually propagate in new pots of wished. 

Now to go have a shower and start my day. 


Looks like a great day for walkies. The sun is out and endless blue skies. Still a bit fresh from the feel of it. 

As for the weeding it can wait.
