It’s starting to get colder here. Though today I had to turn on both the heater and the AC. It was cold this morning and hot whilst driving at lunch.


My comfort food. Stir fried bean shoots and chives.

It’s pretty quick . First sautee the onion in the oil then you need to just alternate in adding the shoots and the chives. Then a sprinkle of fish sauce and that’s it. Once it’s just wilted it’s done. You want some crunch still in the shoots.

As for the ginger chicken sautee the onion then brown the chicken, add the fish sauce and sweet soya. Then the ginger and a little water and simmer until it’s reduced and tender.
