In the right direction. I’ve contacted the accountant. Next week I’m going to see him and sort it out.
I need someone who can tell me in layman’s terms as to what is required with regard to my tax obligations.
Just so I can understand it all. Our accountant is an older person. To me he is a chauvinistic pig.
Just because I’m a female don’t just talk down to me. I’m not stupid. What I don’t know I want to learn.
From now to next week I’ll have to gather paperwork and work out questions to ask him.
I need to be sure in my mind my financials are in order.
Thank goodness there’s a delay in the wall bed installation. I couldn’t get an appointment with him til next Thursday.

I decided to keep the accountant my ex-wife and I used (a woman, btw). My ex continues to use her, but I’m not worried about any confidences being broken because I believe the accountant to be highly ethical. What I’ve always appreciated is how she explains everything in plain English, which is what you seem to be looking for, Vy. Keep looking till you find one who fills all of your requirements. It’s probably the most important relationship you’ll have outside of a romantic one! – Marty

My friend recommended this guy as her brother has multiple properties and investments. He’s an actuarist and earns a mint. I don’t have much. I just need to know what to do.
Anyhow we will see. He’s in his 40s thus younger. Here is hoping he’s easy to talk to.
