I love to cook when I’m in the mood. Trying to learn a new cuisine today. I’ve picked Thai as it’s  closest to Viet cuisine .

Making larb my way . Lots of herbs, cheated a little as Viet butchers sell grounded panfried rice in bags .

The dressing is just fish sauce, lime and sugar which I made the other day for another dish.

So it was a matter of pan frying the chicken mince with some minced shallots and a little fish sauce for a light taste.

Chop all herbs , slice the Spanish onion , chilli and cucumber, quarter the strawberries and assemble it.

Makes a nice fresh salad to have by itself or traditionally with sticky rice
