Trying to teach my hubby the difference between sến music and my music .
Sến music are like instant noodles music . They are mainstream music loved by the working class of Viet Nam.
For music lovers it’s awful music to listen to.
I love music and I can’t stand it. Problem is hubby love sến .
The name originated when the Marie sến started singing them . Ie the maids to the French .

The reason I’m trying to educate him is he’s been practising singing for karaoke sessions 😩
at this rate I might have to buy myself a pair of good ear plugs, the premium kind.
Trying to persuade him to sing my favourites so at least it doesn’t hurt my ears.
His reply ..do you think I can sing them? I didn’t say anything 😂😂😂😂😂
can’t tell him it doesn’t matter what he sings it’s still going to be bad but at least I like these songs better?

Hilarious. I like your option better. But then I like all kinds of music. I’m listening to this at 7am so it’s soothing for this time of morning. Your hubby’s option, not so much. Perhaps for a different time of day.

The beginning of the song is about happiness and how wonderful it is.
Happiness is like birds flying in the warmth of the sun . Like dewdrops at the end of the leaves.
Then about love. How light and gentle it is. At the end we find out it’s a broken love. Please let me forget the wonderful memories ..please let me forget the poetic dreams ..
The song is called cô đơn which means Loneliness
The artist have just passed away just recently but this is only one of his songs . I don’t know the other songs very well. But love this one because it gives me that at peace feeling when I listen to it.

Yes I know so I’m letting him be hehehe. Thank goodness the kids all have good taste in music . I sent them all to music lessons when they were younger .
I love music , all kind just can’t stomach it. It’s songs that the men tend sing when they are drunk . 😊
