I don’t usually haggle except for what’s the best price you can give me ?

Today it was different . I’d drove into the right car park but then thinking I was in the wrong one I drove back out to the next one.

Only then did I realised I was in the wrong one.

Luckily spotted a pedestrian walk way. A fair way to walk to get into the building as it’s a disabled access quite a long ramp.

By the time I got to the store I was like where is it? Couldn’t find it anywhere then a sales person came and found it, from out the back .

I told him I parked quite far away. His reply was go back out to Warrigal Road then come into the loading bay or you’ll have to carry it out.

So I thought nope can’t be bothered. Warrigal Rd is a nightmare to come back out . Yes I can come back out as it’s got lights but to turn right to U turn again to then turn left to their loading bay is a problem .

There’s roadworks just where I have to turn right and if I’m to drive out to Warrigal Road I’m going straight home.

Thus I left and went next door to the other store where I’d parked.

Walked in saw the microwave asked for the best price . She replied let me see what I can do for you $130 down from $149 mind you.

Usually I’d say sure let’s do it. Today I didn’t because the guy next door had it for $109 . So I told her so. Told her I’ve just been and they had stock. I was going to buy it but didn’t .
Anyhow after a long while she complied. The condition was I had to carry it out without help.

So much for service . These two mobs are giants (Harvey Norman , The Good Guys) in the furniture and electronics market and yet their customer service sucked badly .

Much to say I’m never coming back. It was because I was on the way home. If not I’d drive to my local Harvey Norman store similar distance 6-7km from home yet have always received the best service ever. They carry stuff to your car without you having to ask.

If I wasn’t so keen to get things done I’d shove both of them and not buy anything from them.

Learnt my lesson today never again. Next time I’m off to my local store.
