Took my frames over for mum and we discussed about the visitors. Dad’s idea was that we’d go two cars load all the visitors up then we would drop them off in the city and he takes all the luggages home.

Then once we are finished he’d come with his car to pick half of them up to go to their place for dinner. It means I would have to drive back there as well.

LMy idea is okie I’ll follow my parents in their car to the airport. Then we will load up dad’s car with luggages and all of us hop on the Sky Bus to go into the city.

I’ll structure the day so that we will end up at one of the station and catch a train to my place. Since there’s 11 of us hubby can help me drive them home freeing dad up to cook, since we will have to be there for dinner anyway.

The trams within Melbourne CBD are free. We just have to pay for the train fares home and at $4.10 each it’s not bad. I’ve got plenty of spare Myki at home and if need be I’ll buy a few more.

Looks like we are set. Mum was worried about dad being disagreeable . Just phoned her to tell her it’s only $16 for Sky Bus with groups more than 4 to hear dad’s agreed to my idea.

All good. All set. I’ll get the Myki ready and will buy water bottles for everyone for the outing.

As for dinner my kids requested Chinese sausages and zucchini soup to have with rice. Bless them for eating simply.
