Yep it’s a no fuss dinner tonight. I’m tired from the long drive and from the look of it , it looks like BBQ weather.

Look at that glorious sunshine😍

You’d think that in a country that has more sheep than people lamb would be dirt cheap? Not so.

Well it depends on the cut of lamb but the best one is the cutlets. They are yummo. Mild in flavour and beautifully tender and of course the most expensive .

Found this website about cuts of lamb and what to do with each.

Opted for two trays of each. I think we will have left overs . Usually I portion 4-5 cutlets each. The kids don’t mind them for breakfast the next day .

I’m not going to bother to do any fancy marinade for them. It’s going to be just plain salt and pepper . Then hubby will BBQ.

Have bought stuff for a green salad and we will have both with rice.

I’m actually looking forward to dinner. We haven’t had lamb for awhile now.

The family prefers it marinated with red wine, oyster sauce and honey. Me?  I like it plain with just salt and pepper. That way the flavour of the lamb comes through.
