It’s April. Where did the last three months went? No idea .
Autumn is my favourite season of the year. Though it’s a bit colder than it should be. Autumn is usually mild here with temperatures in the 20s.
The last two days it slipped into the teens. Which means this Winter coming will be cold cold.
I didn’t get to wander yesterday thus I might go wandering today. Either that or stay home and bake.
The weather today is a bit like yesterday. Since it’s Saturday I can actually drive into the city. It’s cheap parking at $8-9 all day as opposed to $80 a day on the week day . Though would I need my car for anything ?
To get to the city from my place I can actually go through Richmond. It’s a pain though as there’s trams and cars all over the place. It’s worse now that they’ve raised the tram platforms. Thus the roads look even narrower.
The reason for this was so people in wheelchairs can get into the tram with no problem. There’s no more steps and with more low trams replacing the older ones it’s made it even more accessible.

The older ones with the steps. I used to hang out one of these when I was in high school . We’d hold on to the bar whilst on standing on the ledge . Back in the olden days the drivers didn’t care much . The doors would be opened during peak hour and that’s what everyone did. It was fun as the trams didn’t go too fast.

The newer low ones . Here you can see the tram stop raised to be the same level as the tram . This looks like Collins St as the 109 runs down Collins.
The other route I can take is the Eastern Freeway. The entrance is about 5 minutes from my parents place. I might pop by to see them and drop off the clothes for my sister .
Mum holds all of our stuff to then sort out for whoever needs it. She joked their place is like a transfer station. Stuff moves around.
May be I’ll ask her to come with me if she’s free. Wouldn’t mind some company. Dad with his bad knees don’t walk as much now.
Sometimes I feel sorry for her. My dad is just lovely but her being much younger than dad she must get frustrated with him. She’s only in her late 60s whilst dad is in his late 70s.
Okie decided . I’m off to have a shower and then I’m going to go ring mum to see if she wants to go into the city.
