I’m way too early as just got to the train station before I got my message that the first interviewee cancelled.
Couldn’t be bothered to go back home so caught the train into the city. I need the exercise, 3972 steps and counting.

Melbourne Central early in the morning. What happens when I look down.

The Little Library. A chair to sit and rest and read.

What I see when I look up. Way out to Swanston St.

Food court. By lunch you won’t be able to find a table.

We Melbournians love our coffee. Our GPO.

The gates to Postal lane. It’s another dining lane.

I wonder what’s planned for this building? Weird with it being a single level. It’s located in Bourke St Mall, prime land.

The food court is terrific! 😃

Well, the food wouldn’t be the draw. It’s a terrific setting. 😃

Nope the food is definitely the draw for me. No point eating mediocre food 😂

I’d just get a coffee and hang out. Pretty building.

Lots of groovy places to hang out. We’re the garden city of Australia . When the weather is nice I just grab one and go wandering. I don’t tend to go out to the fringe but I should. Cool neighbourhoods all around, accessible by trams.

That’s cool. I live rurally, by choice. But I do miss the benefits of city living. I’m too spoiled by my privacy now to ever live in one again though.

We live in an apartment but the commercial section so not too bad. Only one neighbour next to us and the other side no one.
That’s why I head down to my hidey hole sometimes. It’s semi-rural there.

I don’t blame you.

I used to be half week here and half week there. Now I’m in the city all week I do miss it. Life is so much slower there than here. The only thing is it’s not close to an Asian groceries. And I love to cook .

Ha! I know the feeling. We aren’t close to anything! 😃

What do you do when you run out of stuff? No corner store to run to?

Not really. It’s about 20 minutes away. But once I get up to the house, I don’t like going back out. We’ve learned to stop on the way home. 😃

And here I’m complaining . Our closest supermarket is 5 mins away .
