What would you do if you win?
My friend had it all figured out. She’d buy houses and rent them out. Then she’d give her family the income from the rentals every month on rotation.
That way they can’t spend it all and her investments increases as time goes by. It’s still hers.
Me? I don’t buy Tatts so I haven’t thought much about it.
Let me sleep on it….endless holidays..pay off the mortgage..create work for the kids so they’d always have a job..
Not sure what Tatts is, but I assume it’s like a lottery? First thing I’m doing is quitting my job. Working is the most overrated part of being an adult. Period.

Are you kidding? I’d find plenty to do. We live on a farm, so there’s always shit to do here. Volunteering, traveling, working for myself, paddling, taking pictures, etc, etc. I’d have no problem not working. The thing is, that kinda money provides freedom. I’d figure out what to do with my time.

Yes I guess win first and figure out what to do later.

Exactly. I hope to be able to have too much time on my hands someday, because right now? Time is something I have way too little of.

Your kids are still young. We are pretty much semi retired. I work 1-2 days at the business. Hubby is there all week but he can take off if he wants. He’s a workaholic . It’s his baby .
Very soon we will have a pharmacist on all week so he only really have to turn up on Sat to do half a day.
So lots of time. I find though you tend to waste time when you’ve got it. Catch 22.

Ha! I can’t wait to find that out for myself. Keep in mind, we were talking about if you’d won the lottery. With that kind of money, the things you could do with that time would be limitless.

Yes if it’s like endless money 😂 we are talking in the 30-50 millions don’t think a couple of millions would amount to much these days not like in the 80s when things were considerably inexpensive

Oh, I agree. The jackpot for our Powerball last night was $750,000,000. About $460,000,000 after taxes. I’d have no trouble finding ways to spend my time with that kinda nest egg. One winning ticket was sold. Somebody had a great day today.
