Okie so I’ve relented.
My nice and clean kitchen beckons me to cook.
Pasta bake it is tonight. I’ve got lots to go into it. Need to use it all up.
Smoked salmon, salami, capsicum, tomatoes, Spanish onion, cheese, beans, jalapeño, corn, pasta sauce and whatever else I can dig out of the fridge and freezer.
You must feel like the queen of the kitchen looking down on the living room like that. Lol
Cool house!

It used to be a printing place. The kitchen is where they housed their printers. A concrete mezzanine. So the kitchen bench is where the barriers/fence used to be.
It’s a 1200mm drop to the living area and thus we made a storage area under it. It’s our underneath the apartment storage.
I’ve tried to keep it a Japanese theme through out.

One thing I regret is getting blinds for the doors . I get the afternoon sun hitting the wooden floors and reflecting up hitting my eyes when I cook dinner.

Maybe a rug is in your future.

Hehehe I’m thinking blind. We have a rug but it’s to the left where the lounge is.

I love how you have your oils etc in the wooden boxes, I cannot wait to get home and start hunting the antique shops for wooden boxes for my stuff!!

It’s convenient as I didn’t want to damage the glass splashback

Oh, man, a gas stove. It’s been years since I had one. Jealous!

I’ve never had an electric stove well except for when I was at the nurses home for my traineeship. Other than that gas all the way.
