My goodness it’s been 2 days.

My handle came. With some superglue it did the trick. Though I used too much glue so now need to find some acetone to clean off the glue around the edges.

Yesterday I made sticky date pudding.

Whilst waiting for my butter to soften I went walkies.

I went to the city to grab some Asian groceries. Bought KFC..crossed and walked along the river to pick up my post and then headed to the market to grab stuff for dinner.

The king looks like Mr Wanderer sleeping on my couch.

And yes I made too much. After we ate some that pudding went into 6 portions.

1 for my parents, 2 for the kids since the ex likes it, 1 for Mr Boardie. Which left me with 2. I’ve left 1 up the freezer and 1 in the fridge. It’s yum even without the sauce.

Dinner last night. Baked sea perch.

Very easy recipe as I was running late.

1.2kg fish

1/2 cup of light soy

1 teaspoon of sugar

Spring onion

Ginger

Salt and pepper

2 tablespoons of rice wine

2 tablespoons of water

I just salt and peppered the fish then added everything in. Cover it with foil and baked it for 40 minutes.

The kids approved. Though the soy don’t look too good baked with the fish it saved me time and well tastes good anyway so was a plus.

The original recipe says to steam the fish. Make the sauce on the stove with some oil. I don’t have a big steamer and well baking achieves the same result.
