And dusted.
Today I got tested for COVID-19 .I went into work this morning to find a notice saying every asymptomatic employee should consider getting tested.
So I did. First they swab your throat then they swab your nostrils. Both sides. It was awful. Not painful just uncomfortable. Makes your eyes water.
I think now they are up to the stage of plenty of tests and trying to meet quotas.
I should know in 1-3 days either way.
I saw these on my walk with my girl to grab groceries yesterday.
I did 12km in total including a walk along the beach in the morning.
It never ceases to amaze me. I’m one lucky girl.
Dinner last night. Meat balls with rice.
Good for you! They’re not even close to testing mere mortals like myself here yet. It’ll be interesting to see what your results will be. Yes, please, on the meatballs. I’ll be there by tomorrow; please keep them on a low burner. – Marty

Marty 😂 it’s easy to make. I’ll post the recipe for you to make it yourself. It will be interesting as I haven’t been in contact with anyone that’s got it. Still with me being out so much not sure if I have caught it and not know. Especially since Mr Wanderer was really sick 2 months ago and I was with him. Also tour guiding cruise ship passengers ummmm who knows?

Recipe:
1kg pork mince
140g tomato paste
6-7 tomatoes diced
3 brown onions (1 sliced, 2 minced/chopped)
7-8 small/ medium carrots diced
Oyster sauce
Fish sauce
Sugar
Black Pepper
Sesame oil
Oil (Vegetable or Canola)
Sauce:
Saute the sliced onion in some oil until fragrant add in tomatoes, paste, carrots. Cook for a few minutes then add water and simmer with lid on.
Takes about 20-30 minutes until the carrot is tender.
Meat balls:
Combine onion and mince. Sprinkle of black pepper (ground), drizzle of sesame oil, fish sauce and oyster sauce. Mix well and shape into meat balls.
Once carrots is tender pop the meat balls in. Once the meat balls are cooked it’s ready to eat.
Sugar and fish sauce to taste.
I used a teaspoon of sugar and I thought it was just right but the whole family thought it wasn’t salty enough. So they added fish sauce to their bowls.

Vy, that is so nice of you! Thanks so much. I’m copying and pasting it for Linda (a/k/a “Gorgeous”) because she’s the master foodie in our home. I told her just now you did it and she said, “Oooh, Vietnamese-style meatballs? I want that!” 🙂 Thanks again. – Marty
