I didn’t ride in. I took the tram in after a scallops and chips lunch.
This is a clean one near all the new apartments.
Another one. This one house the breakfast/brunch cafes.
I just love old buildings.
Where I get my Pho. Hardware lane. At night all the vendors put their tables and chairs out.
In Winter the heaters come out as well. There’s live music. Waiters with menus trying to get you to eat at their place rather than the next place. It’s a great area to walk through.
Now it’s dead! The restaurants just give up! As take aways just not worth their trouble.
My lockdown treat. Jam donuts. $7.50 for 5.
I also went and got some cheese.
Looks like we will be locked down for awhile. Our cases keep on going up.
Love your photographic posts the best, Vy. I may never get to Melbourne, but I enjoy seeing it through your eyes. I now have a desire for pho and jelly donuts. Gee, I wonder why? 🙂 – Marty

It’s funny you call them jelly donuts Marty. We call them hot jam donuts. You can have them with sugar or without! I tend to just have the whole lot!

Almost a “chips” vs “fries” distinction. Almost! 😃

Yes Marty. Kind of. Over here the only difference between chips in a bag and chips (fries) is the word hot!

Thanks! No more donuts for me! Some pastries would be nice but might have to wait til Friday when the market is opened.
