He did it again.
Last night he was like why are you so stressed ? I’ve got heaps to do. You’re not the only one you know? was his reply .
I’ve got to organise 2 homes. Work at the business and hospital . Being new and having to learn 3 new softwares, new processes . All the competencies had to be done.
Christmas . Organising the party and all of your staff’s Christmas pressies, the teachers, the kids and whoever else? The competition ? Decoration of the shop’s window ?
I don’t think I will ever get through to him how much I do. He thinks since I only work part time I have all the time in the world .
Wonders if he ever sit down and think who does his laundry? or does the laundry fairy just flick her wand and his clothes magically appears washed and back in his wardrobe?
Or that the groceries just restock themselves?
I took them groceries shopping the other day after lunch.
The oldest took the other two to have a hair cut. I went to the supermarket . He went to grab fruit and vegies.
My trolley was full to the brim when my daughter phoned to see if I needed help. To which I replied yes. So the kids met me at the supermarket.
Haven’t heard from hubby at all so I assumed he was still at it.
Paid for the food and gave the girls the car key to go unload. I took my son with me to go grab the Asian groceries. Since it got heavy I told him to go back to the supermarket and borrow a trolley and come back whilst I continued to shop.
Then he wanted to go buy home made soy milk from a bakery I gave him the money and went back to the car with the trolley.
Only to find hubby only bought fruit and not the vegies for dinner. After he specifically told me he would.
Was so annoyed as I didn’t want to go back up the ramp to go buy vegies which meant back into the Asian groceries for herbs then on to the fruit and vegies again for cucumber and lettuce and whatever else.
Told him off as if I had known I’d have bought it whilst in the Asian groceries not having to go back in and line up again. It’s a long line on a Sunday everywhere.
I know they hate groceries . I do too as it takes forever. It’s faster when I have help.
Look if you guys don’t help me it’s 3 hours every Saturday for me to do it myself . Now that I’m working every Saturday I don’t have that luxury.
Came home got the kids to help put the groceries away.
And guess what I found in my freezer the other day? My Chinese sausages. Asked who put it away? It was my son . He said the youngest told him to . The youngest I told you to put it in the fridge not in the freezer?
I was like it stays outside unless it’s opened..kids..
As for hubby and his fruit buying . Should not have trusted him. Found heaps of mangoes , lady finger bananas which the kids don’t like and I counted 3 apples all half dead mind you. I was like what?

So then I had to go back yesterday to buy more fruit for us . The big apple was his all waxy and half gone .

I love grocery shopping and it completely stresses me out when anyone goes with me. Sorry you had a stressful grocery shopping day, but had to laugh at your description of the fruit your hubby bought.

I rather enjoy short stints of groceries shopping ie daily buys to cook .It relaxes me. It’s when I do a huge stock up that’s when I need help.

But there’s ICE CREAM in that freezer, Vy. Everything’s better when there’s ICE CREAM in the house, right? Right? 😉

Of course there’s always ice cream 🙂 We have Bulla full cream vanilla to have with pies or crumble then there’s salted vanilla one of my favourites then there’s Magnum classic or with almond for my son. Also a favourite. And then there’s icypoles as well for me and the kids . Hubby doesn’t eat much which means more for us 🙂
