I love my sleep and well have always spent more time in bed than out.
Hubby snores and I think I do too. The thing is it never bothered me since I always fell asleep before him. I’m a deep sleeper so his snoring doesn’t tend to wake me up.
Now that I’m older if I sleep too early I’d wake up around 3-4am and then I can’t get back to sleep . Worse still with him snoring it’s even harder to fall back to sleep.
Anyhow he came home all excited the other day saying how one of his clients have come in to buy a spare slumber guard .He said it took him a few days to get used to sleeping with it but it’s great . He gets up more refreshed and his wife is happier too as he’s not snoring anymore.
Last night I saw two bowls of water. Asked hubby what is going on ? Apparently he used it to soak the slumberguard.
And guess what? I woke up early this morning and nothing . Could not hear a thing . Not a snore to be heard . I was wow it’s amazing.
I must have been dreaming as hubby said he wore it for a bit and then he took it out.
Fingers crossed he will persevere with it. I’m looking forward to a good night’s sleep for once.

This is what it looks like. As for me I would love to feel refreshed every morning but don’t know if I can wear that every night though.

We went for a walk last night and it looks like Christmas . This is one of the streets near me with red ribbons on all of the plane trees.
My boyfriend uses a sleep apnea machine. sometimes the mask thing gets dislodged or moves and it makes this awful hissing sound that is impossible to fall back to sleep to!

a CPAP machine ? hubby have been quiet the last two nights . So quiet I’m still amazed. Though the next bit might be him wanting me to use it as well which I’m not sure about

I’m really happy for you — good to find a resolution. My wife probably wouldn’t wear that, though. She already has a mouth guard for her grinding, so I suspect she’d fight me if I suggested one more thing. I do pretty well with the earplugs … as long as she doesn’t come for a mid-sleep cuddle. Then I’m toast. 🙂

hehehe it’s quite eerie actually once you get used to the snoring . It’s abnormally quiet.
