Inside out. Dessert before dinner. Why not?


Made this in between naps.


You think this dough looks right? Nope it was too dry. 


It needs to be a bit wetter to shape the dumplings. Towards the end I had to wet my palm with water to shape them.


Once they float they are done. 


Into the syrup they go and then the milk and sesame seeds on top.

They tasted okie. They could be just a little bit softer. Next time I’ll use 1:2 instead of 1:3. 

Hubby took a big big bowl then he commented you didn’t make very much ? 

He then said maybe 2:5 just a bit more potato starch. 

Hmmm some days I feel like I’m starving him or something 😩
