Hubby’s bar. He’s suddenly into making cocktails. Don’t think he’s got all of the liqueur as yet. Might buy some for him.
We opted for pizza for dinner at a local restaurant. Seeing it’s an upmarket one we ordered three pizzas. Above is a marinara one. Below a spicy pepperoni.
The base is very thin. Feels like the dough is stretched to the max. Wood fired and yummo.
Pork sausage and fennel.
These three set me back $62. They are a bit stingy with their toppings.
I made a salad from left over ingredients.
That was our dinner. So easy just the three of us.
Finished off with an orange slice made by my oldest’s boy friend.
Looks yummy!!!

New York style is very thin, which is my favorite. Those look really good, but I don’t think I’ve ever had shrimp on a pizza. – Marty

Have had NYC pizzas. Thin and biscuity. Didn’t like them. Tasted like cardboard. We must have gone to a crappy place.
These are thin but chewy. They do a garlic sauce and then a marinara mix on the pizza over here.
The best pizza I had was in Taipei up a mountain. May be we were hungry and it was a cold and wet day it tasted yummo.

Ooh, the Margherita one looks the best. I really love all pizza. Here there’s a big rivalry between NY and Chicago pizzas. NY is thin and Chicago is really thick. I like both, but prefer the thin kind. When I come to Australia, I’ll try this place assuming it’s still in business!

There are better places. This one was close by that’s why. There’s one near us that’s better but it’s a bar so can’t go with the kids in tow. My youngest is not at drinking age as yet. Over here it’s 18.

Back when I was in my twenties I couldn’t have pizza without beer. In fact, I thought it was a crime not to have both. Now I’ll only have it with red wine. The younger me would have put his nose up at me. 🙂

😂😂😂😂😂 funny how we change with age. Still can’t believe I’m going to turn 50 in another few years. I don’t feel any different . I do know I’m not as tolerant as I used to be.
