Dinner. I made seafood chowder to have with sour dough. It was yum.
Our entree was a dozen oyster kilpatrick.
The kids took 2 boxes home and I stuffed 3 little boxes up the freezer.
Dinner was expensive. I spent about $120 on dinner and fruit. Sent some fruit back with the kids
Last night Big Al messaged me to say he enjoyed talking to me. To which I replied likewise.
Tonight he messaged again to say then he accept my apology for running off without saying goodbye.
The cheek of him. Hmmmm.

Is food so expensive down there? I can’t imagine spending that much on a single meal. But, I don’t cook fancy. I’m a fairly plain jane sort of chef! lol

Depends on what you cook really.
I spent about $70 on seafood. With oysters $25 per doz included.
Then bacon and sour dough was $11.40
Vegies another $11.70 Coles for cream and frozen corn, fruits another $20+

I like the milk soup made with oyster stew. But oysters….? nope.
